# Single Turn Attacks

> All 39 single-turn prompt injection probes and how to run them

Single-turn probes try to manipulate the model in one message. The catalog has **39** `SubCategory` values. Payload splitting is [multi-turn](/trusttest/create/threat-detection/prompt-injections/multi-turn/payload-splitting).

## Using the catalog builder

`SingleTurnScenarioBuilder.get_scenario()` picks the probe, default evaluator, and framework tags for a `SubCategory`. Swap the enum for any row in the table.

## Using a probe directly

Construct the class when you want to pass an `Objective` (or extra params such as `MultimodalInjectionProbe.injection_techniques`). Most single-turn probes take `objective`, `target`, `language`, and `num_test_cases`.
